I can say this as Instagram Study. Surely soon the SAR will include these terms derived from social networks and new technologies, which we all understand perfectly. Meanwhile, these are the 15 most Instagrammed locations in the world or tourist attractions where more photographs are tagged in Instagram publications.
Of course, the more classic points like the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben or Times Square are among them and not surprising since we all want to capture these images when we travel. In the list, there is a monument of our country. Guess what it is?
The ranking of locations with more post on Instagram!
- Central Park
With the hashtag #centralpark, I found 4.8 million+ publications on Instagram, so it is undoubtedly the most photographed spot. The photo I selected that gives us good days with these views of New York from the park.
- Las Vegas
Grouped with the hashtag #LasVegasstrip, I found the photos of what awaits us if we venture to travel to Las Vegas, where the lights, casinos, and shows have achieved that more than 3.6 million posts are published on Instagram.
- The Eiffel Tower
The first European attraction, the famous Eiffel Tower, the symbol of France, could not be missed. In the hashtag #Eiffeltower, I found almost 3 million and a half posts, among which we chose this sunset.
- The Big Ben
Continue in Europe and the most famous clock in London has managed to group in the hashtag #BigBen more than 2 and a half million photos on Instagram. The one I used is a classic print of the city of London with Big Ben as the protagonist.
All of us who traveled to New York were fascinated with Times Square, and logically there are many photos of this crowded square and the great luminous signs. Among the more than 2.5 million pictures of the #Timessquare hashtag.
- Venice Beach
Ahead of the Louvre Museum, I found over 2.2 million posts on Instagram in the hashtag #VeniceBeach like this. In the majority, I see the beach, the sculptural bodies and everything that surrounds this famous beach of Los Angeles, California.
- The Louvre Museum
Second French location in this list! In the hashtag #Louvre, I found 1.7 million posts on Instagram, like this photo, in which the glass pyramid takes the lead.
- The Golden Gate Bridge
The #GoldengateBridge of San Francisco also has 1.7 million posts, some as spectacular as this one, that reminds us how cold this California city is where we can see this beautiful piece of engineering.
- Burj Khalifa
The towers and buildings of Dubai are also very appealing motifs for all Instagrammers. The difficulty is to put the great tower of #BurjKhalifa in the frame of the mobile. A real trick is to use the diagonals in the frame, as you have done for your photo.
- The Empire State Building
I return to New York to a third location, behind Central Park and Times Square. The great #EmpireStateBuilding has 1.6 million pictures on Instagram.
- The Brooklyn Bridge
New York is still a city full of great photography spots on Instagram. Specifically, #BrooklynBridge also has 1.6 million posts, a number that grows every day with photos like this, a whole perspective study.
- Notre Dame
The tourist power of Paris is noticeable in this other classical location, that of the Church of #NotreDame which reaches one million and three hundred thousand posts on Instagram. I liked this photo with his game of comparing Polaroid with reality.
- Tower Bridge of London
The famous Tower Bridge reaches in the hashtag #Towerbridge the amount of 1.2 million posts, standing in front of the Statue of Liberty, which is in 14th place. London Tower Bridge is one of London’s famous bridges and one of many must-see landmarks in London.
- The Statue of Liberty
Perhaps one of the most iconic and well-known skyscrapers in the world. Fifth location of the city of New York among the 15 most photographed. The #Statueofliberty hashtag reaches almost 1.2 million Instagram posts, made from all angles and many of them, from the classic ferry that teaches us sunsets like this one.
- Sagrada Familia
The work of Gaudi in Barcelona is the most Instagrammed post in Spain. Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family is a large Roman Catholic Church which resides in Barcelona, Spain. The #SagradaFamilia has more than one million posts, among which I have chosen this one from in which it is appreciated how advanced this construction is although the cranes still present in every photo of this architectural marvel.
Special Mention by #MacroTraveller – Taj Mahal, Agra, India!
The Taj Mahal is probably the grandest mausoleum in the world. Originally built in 1653, it is estimated to have cost around 32 million rupees which are equal to around $827 million in today’s money.
The Taj Mahal is an excellent landmark on this list to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been described as the “…one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.”
Somewhere around eight million people visit the Taj Mahal every year with over 570,000 Instagrams being snapped so far.
