Do you love the King of Fruits — Mango? I just adore them. I am a big mango fan. Every year I look forward to mango season and relish it in all its form. Last week when I got an invite from India’s favourite & largest vegetarian thali chain Khandani Rajdhani to savour their “Aamlicious – Mango Festival.” I was like wow! You know I’m vegetarian, this kind of invite make me feel more hunger for mangoes. What a thali it was, a perfect indulgence for any foodie!
India’s traditional dishes have always used the mango in innovative ways. From chutneys and Aamras to Shrikhand and Kadhi – the mango is everywhere! This is why there’s no better place to savour it in its most authentic forms than at the Aamlicious Festival at Khandani Rajdhani, the world’s favourite thali restaurant!
At Khandani Rajdhani, they believe in pampering you big time. From the second you enter their restaurant till you leave with a happy heart and a full stomach, the staff continues to charm you throughout with their smiling faces and caring nature.
Enjoy the delicious and rare Kairi Chana Dal Dhokla, the inventive Kairi Samosa Sabzi, lip-smacking Mango Kofta Pulao, exotic Malabari Mango Kadhi and the regional delicacy Mango Pachadi.
The loveliest part about eating at Rajdhani is that you are so well looked after. Some servers keep an eye on your plates and keep urging you to try more, almost like a close relative who loves to feed you till you start crying full.
Evergreen favourites like the Mango Raita and Aamrakhand hold a place of honour. There’s the Mango Jalebi for all those with a sweet tooth. And of course, the jewel in the crown, the majestic Aamras will remain the highlight of the thali.
The Aamlicious Festival at Khandani Rajdhani will have a unique rotational mango menu, which means that every meal will have at least 2 to 3 individual dishes made from raw and ripe mangoes.
