Asus ZenFone 3S Max #MTTech Review

The ASUS Zenfone 3S Max is a successor to the Zenfone 3 Max, and it retains some of the features of its predecessor. It is almost the same as “ZenFone Pegasus 3S” announced in China, it is a different model with more battery capacity than ZenFone 3 Max which is on sale in Japan, its appearance and specifications are different.

ZenFone 3S Max – Another Battery Player in Market!

Specification for ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) chassis is made of metal, aluminium, forming a single piece. Unibody screen display size 5.2-inch HD 720 x 1280 pixels with features and 2.5D curved glass edge. A Bluelight processor at 1.5GHz Octa Core CPUs using chipsets MediaTek MT6750, RAM 3GB, 32GB internal memory expandable with microSD Card up to 2TB and run on an operating system Android 7.0 Nougat 8 cover with over ZenUI 3.0.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that holds Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max is available in two colours Black and Gold. The Box package contains the Asus Zenfone 3S Max itself, Charging Adaptor and micro USB cable, Earphone, User Guide and Warranty Card.

Brilliant Features!

It is also equipped with a rear camera resolution 13-megapixel camera with aperture f / 2.0, five lenses and LED flash Dual Tone the camera resolution of 8 megapixels with Beauty Mode and install the sensor scans a fingerprint. Home button and supports 2 SIM, supports 4G LTE and battery with 5,000 mAh capacity mode that can be used for charging the Power Bank to another machine.

Stunning DESIGN and DISPLAY!

The design is one of the high points of this device. The phone sports a metal shell, except for the plastic top and bottom parts for antennas. I love the way the device feels in hand due to rounding corners on the back and because it is a rather small phone. It has a 5.2” display, which only has 720p resolution. Still, it is a moderately good LCD panel, and it should be enough for most users. The only shortcoming is that it could have a slightly better sunlight clarity. The phone has a notification LED light, which sits next to the 5MP selfie shooter. However, we only have the on-screen navigation buttons that cannot be customised. Well, at least you can press the multitasking button to take a screenshot.

Highlight Real – Battery!

One notable feature which the ASUS Zenfone 3S Max holds is the massive 5,000mAh battery for a long-lasting uptime. The battery is likely, the biggest feature on the Zenfone 3S Max and it goes even beyond that, as the smartphone comes with support for reverse charging. Even with continuous YouTube video viewing, surfing and browsing, listening to music, notifications, the phone lasted close to one and a half days, which is considered quite adequate for its users.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max features a Fingerprint Scanner on the rear that prevents others from accessing yours to private data. The fingerprint sensor is very active and reliable and can unlock the phone in just 0.3 seconds. You can add up to 5 Fingers fingerprints for complete convenience.

Conclusion

Asus delivers the Zenfone 3S Max off an interesting device that can safely hold its own in the meantime highly competitive premium midrange segment. On raw performance, is lack killer touch, but on the other hand, it deals more efficiently with its battery. Besides, it works very smoothly and constant everyday use, even for those who expect more from this smartphone and occasionally plays a game. An excellent asset for the Zenfone 3S Max is Battery, no doubt. However, camera, which comes out of the corner very surprising for a device in this price range. For that reason alone, this smartphone has earned its place in the market.
