Travel Earth an Indian Travel Media Company along with Sabah Tourism had conducted Earthy Awards in Sabah, Malaysia. This was one of the largest award function for Digital Travel Influencers from India. The convention took place at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Kota Kinabalu is a coastal city surrounded by lush rainforest where we explored places of Kota Kinabalu, courtesy of Sabah Tourism. 
Earthy Awards convention took place from June 25-28, 2019 and #macrotraveller was happy to be a part of this esteemed award function. Co-hosted by Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB), Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), Air Asia and Malindo Air, this convention hosted around 40-100 Participants along with panellists and eminent speakers. This 4-day event comprised of 2 days of tours and the rest 2 days dedicated for the award function.
With over 100+ participants this convention aimed bought together various travel contenders, creators, renowned speakers and India’s leading digital influencers in one room. This helped everyone to interact with each other and get to know their field of interest and their digital presence in this competitive world. The event also hosted an award ceremony where India’s leading travel contender was given out an award which was one of a kind during the convention. 
Speaking about Earthy Awards, eminent speakers like Arun Raghy from Travel Earth spoke“We are delighted to host as well as award leading digital influencers from this industry because they work tirelessly to inspire people to travel, and we believe travel enriches people’s lives and expands their outlook. We are equally delighted to partner with Sabah for this event for two reasons, firstly because of the destination itself. We believe everybody will savour the picturesque location and its rich cultural heritage. But more importantly, it’s because the tourism board here is aware of the digital revolution and have a keen foresight in leveraging it through this event,” 
Marketing Manager of Sabah Tourism Board, Humphrey Ginibun, Spoke about the convention stating, “Travel Earth will bring Sabah, Malaysia to a new and higher level of awareness in India,” 
And finally Datuk KL Tan, President of MATTA Malaysia spoke about the event stating “Travel Earth Bloggers Convention is a milestone achievement for the tourism Industry and will jump-start Sabah, Malaysia as a great holiday destination in India,” said Datuk KL Tan, President of MATTA Malaysia.
This event is primarily targeted at content creators whose ability to generate content in their own unique way helps us see our world in many different perspectives. Whether they create written content, or make amazing videos or take beautiful photos of our planet. Earthy’s expressed their gratitude with this convention who helped people to explore some of the beautiful places on earth.

This type of awards should be organised more..people that encourage others to travel around the world should be encouraged..this will boost tourism.. Nice one
