express lunch -Sriracha Restaurant, Indiranagar Bengaluru

On 15th of February, 2019 Sriracha – Robata, a Pan-Asian Dining restaurant opened its gate at a new location in Bangalore located at Indiranagar (Lavelle Road being the first). The contemporary pan-Asian eatery offers two distinctive experiences – the live Robatayaki grill and Cambodian Khmer cuisine that will create a mark in the culinary landscape of the city.

The restaurant has a subtle and chilled out ambience which you would notice once you enter the restaurant. The light wooden strips on the wall, an array of metal drum lamps, natural tones of patterned granite flooring which makes the diners with a quiet dining experience.  The food here is also amazing and the ambience makes you feel like home with quiet ambience and laid out atmosphere.

#macrotraveller was invited for the new express lunch menu that was specially catered for people who are in a rush or who want fast course meals on the go. The express lunch menu has 3 options where you can choose Veg/Non-Veg meals with 2, 3, 4 course and they are priced moderately.  The two courses meal costs Veg-345, Non-Veg – 445, 3-course meal for Veg costs 445 and non-veg costs 545, 4-course meal for veg costs 545 and non-veg 645.

Course One includes appetizers and for vegetarian the dishes include Rock Corn which is Sriracha Mayo Based Spiced Corn Fritters, Crispy Hunan Potatoes with Garlic Chips served with Sriracha Mayo, Black Pepper Baby corn with homemade peanut sauce, roasted pumpkin & water chestnut dumplings which are toasted sesame seeds & spiced rice vinegar. For Non-vegetarians, the dishes include Grilled Lemon Grass Chilli Fish served with Bean Sprouts Salad, Tamarind and Lemon Grass Chicken with spiced lemon dip, Stir-fried chilli basil chicken which is succulent sliced chicken tossed in spiced chilli basil soy and Burnt garlic basil chicken crystal dumplings served with coriander chilli soy.

Course Two includes Soups which they serve in two options Cilantro Soup which is a mild soup with flavours of Coriander Leaves along with chicken, seafood or vegetables. Sweet Corn and Asparagus Soup with Chicken which is traditional and thick sweet corn soup served with chicken.

Course Three includes Mains which include Pan Seared Sliced Fish served with Egg Fried Rice. The sauce provided along with the fish includes sweet & sour, chilli oyster or Szechuan sauce and Spicy Chicken with cashew nuts and coriander served with egg fried rice. Vegetarian Main Course includes Tofu and Vegetable Thai Red/green curry where the rice served will be steamed basmati rice, wok-fried vegetables in black bean chilli sauce served with celery & garlic rice, Shangai noodles and wok noodles.

Course Four which is desserts where I was served Sumatra Dark Chocolate Mousse, Signature sesame honey mini cones which are served with organic honey and finally Darsaan with homemade plum ice cream along with cinnamon dust and organic honey which is drizzled.

The meals served here were healthy and tasteful which makes one feel to have here most of the day, #macrotraveller personal favourite of what was tried here was Black Pepper Baby corn served with Home-made peanut sauce.  People who are in a rush, office staff, people who want quick food and which is delectable can choose dishes served in Sriracha Restaurant.
