Gionee A1 Plus Review: Plus on Size and Battery

Gionee A1 Plus is one of the latest smartphones that was released in April 2017. In addition to releasing Gionee A1, it turns out Gionee also presents another smartphone that is Gionee A1 Plus. Nothing is too uncanny with this product because it is still relatively new in the smartphone competition, and the spec offered is excellent with the latest features in it. Design of Gionee A1 Plus is still present as Gionee A1, this time Gionee A1 Plus comes with a larger screen, better battery and better specifications than Gionee A1.

Gionee A1 Plus comes with a 6.0-inch wide screen width with Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. As for the type of screen Gionee A1 Plus is using type IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with color depth reaches 16 million colors. But unfortunately, Gionee A1 Plus is not equipped with a gorilla glass screen protector that will protect the screen from various scratches and impact. A1 Plus is one of the smartphones with the widest screen today.

Continuing into its innards, Gionee A1 Plus is adopting the chipset MediaTek MT6757T Helio P25 combined with Quad core processor and on graphics processing there Mali-T880MP2 GPU that will display a stunning display. While the operating system of this smartphone running the operating system Android v7.0 Nougat supported with 4 GB of RAM that you can use to run various games and applications you want. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat based Amigo UI 4.0.

Then for storage smartphone made by Gionee has an internal memory capacity of 64 GB that you can use to store numerous personal files and if with internal memory you still feel less then you can add external memory with microSD up to 256 GB capacity.

Gionee is always promoting its phones as selfie-centric devices. On the camera, Gionee A1 Plus comes with a competent primary camera that is Dual 13 Megapixel + 5 Megapixel which is equipped with LED Flash and PD Autofocus. This camera is certainly capable of producing the best image quality in its class. For the camera front of this smartphone has a 20 Megapixel lens that will be very fun to take selfie though not embedded LED Flash on the front camera.

As for connectivity and network, Gionee A1 Plus comes with features Dual SIM and already supports 4G LTE network. Much connectivity are also provided on this smartphone including Wi-Fi support, Hotspot, GPS navigation, and also the media for data transfer, ie, Bluetooth, micro USB and also USB OTG.

For battery endurance, this smartphone has a capacity of 4500 mAh battery complete with Fast Charging feature that will accelerate the process of charging. The handset comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button, same as the Gionee A1.

Advantages Gionee A1 Plus:

4) It’s been running on the Nougat 7.0 version OS which is very fresh and lots of new apps.

5) Camera shots are very clear with Dual 13 MP + 5 MP which is equipped with Dual LED Flash and Autofocus.

6) Able to record video with Full HD results.

7) Selfie, wefie and video call will satisfy you.

8) Capable of holding lots of files with 64/128 GB Internal Memory supported by Micro SD up to 256 GB

9) Battery capacity is quite jumbo with 4550 mAh equipped with Fast Charging.

10) Equipped with Sensor fingerprint to protect personal data.

Disadvantages Gionee A1 Plus:

1) Not covered with Gorilla Glass screen protector.

2) Need a special place considering this smart phone is quite a jumbo size.

3) The front camera is not equipped with LED Flash, so selfie in dark place results is less sharp images.

4) Lack of promotion, so the brand still sounds familiar to the ears of consumers.
