How to travel to the USA from India

 The USA  a dream destination for many people staying around the world, the dream come true place for many and one place where most of them will have in their mind to visit it once in a lifetime. With so many places to visit in the country spread across various states, we will be limited to options of things to do for the place which is on your list or destination to be travelled. With its amazing places, picturesque skies and locations, helpful people and various multi-cuisine restaurants in every major city USA have a lot to offer to its visitors.

Getting into the USA, a person needs a valid VISA where there are a list of Visa’s that needs to be applied based on the purpose of visit. US Visa for tourist purpose is B-2. B-2 Visa is essentially issued for people who want to enter the country for tourism and non-business purposes.  You can apply for the US in the official website, be sure to be correct with all the details provided, documents provided at the time of application. Once you submit visa you will be scheduled for an appointment in US Consultants, Embassy in India situated in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. Please make sure you carry correct documents as submitted in visa application and once your interview is taken expect some days to get an email about the status of your visa.

Once you have a proper visa for the US, you can book flight tickets based on your travel plans and dates, however  Autumn season is the best time to visit the country with its mild weather but you can choose the dates as per your comfort as the USA is a vast country and some states have different weather conditions than others. From India, we have direct flight connections to USA such as Mumbai (BOM) – Newark (EWR), New Delhi (DEL) – Newark (EWR), New Delhi (DEL) – New York (JFK), New Delhi (DEL) – San Francisco (SFO), New Delhi (DEL) – Chicago (ORD) and New Delhi (DEL) – Washington DC (IAD) these flights have been operated by United Airlines, Air India. Several other airlines do offer direct flights from the USA to India.  Flight priced may vary depending on tour dates and departing destination however if you want to fly direct to the country these are available options. There are many other options where you have connecting flights to the US and the transit will be based on the airline service for which the tickets are booked.

Upon arrival you need to check pass immigration where you would be required to answer some questions asked by Immigration officer, later collect the baggage and off you can enter the states and continue your wild exploration of the country.
