Kairali – The Ayurvedic Healing Village in Palakkad,Kerala #MacroTraveller

With this ever-developing environment around us, with all the hustle and bustle which we have created to succeed in this present life, we have forgotten how much our body is taking the pressure which we are providing it to be at par with others. In this manner once in a while, we must stop, rest, rejuvenate and continue with what we were doing at the beginning. Hence, as per my ever-busy lifestyle, I received an email stating to be a part of Kairali – The Ayurvedic Healing Village FAM visit and I immediately agreed as my body had taken a heavy toll on back-back travel around the world.

Kairali Ayurvedic Group is a ten-decade old group who specialises in Ayurveda. Ayurveda, in general, is an old form of medication that connects the mind with the body. It was developed by sages of India which till now continues to be a sophisticated and powerful medicine which has been practised here. More than a mere system of treating illness, Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full human potential.

Kairali Ayurveda has been a part of this ancient Indian form of medicine for a long time and has won several awards. Their mission is to “Uphold the authentic principals of Ayurveda in order to propagate health and wellbeing worldwide”. They serve various products and services which are based on Ayurveda such as Ayurvedic Spa, Ayurvedic Therapists & Doctors, Ayurvedic Proprietary Organics, Medicines, Consultancy, The Ayurvedic Healing Village etc.

Being invited for FAM trip I was excited and also my body needed rest hence I was waiting for the D-Day. On D-Day, we left for the Ayurvedic Healing Village situated in Pallakad, Kerala and as a FAM Trip, we waiting for other members to arrive, upon arrival we were picked up at the airport and off we drove to the village witnessing beautiful landscape, nature and greenery of Pallakad. We reached the destination and on Day 1 we did not have much to do we checked in to the Healing Village, had a delicious lunch which was prepared to keep nature and calories in mind.

Later after lunch, we had an individual consultation with Ayurvedic Doctor and an Astrologer who explained to us how to keep our body fit, our assessments were taken and they noted down every detail of daily life happenings, recent medical diagnosis, any illness which is troubling us constantly etc and the astrologer checked our planetary alignment and let us know what would be the constant disease which we might face or are currently facing etc which is when we got to know how serious Kairali takes care of their patients.

After Individual consultation, we were taken a round of the resort and we noticed how quiet the area was, away from constant vehicular traffic, sounds, pollution etc and we felt relaxed noticing the peaceful atmosphere in and around the resort. Once a quick tour of the resort we sat down for meditation, feeling fresh after meditation we immediately were briefed about Kairali Ayurvedic Group, history, accomplishments, awards and recognitions, milestones etc which let us know how the group has prospered in the field of Ayurveda for decades. Once the briefing was complete we were provided with a good vegetarian dinner which we guess were prepared to keep Ayurveda in mind and noticed it tasted amazing. We were dispatched to our stay areas and took a good rest for the day.
