Sunday is always for relaxation after working for a whole week. I prefer to eat out without troubling anyone and preferred to visit Royal Orchid, HAL, Old Airport Road, Bangalore for a Scintillating Sunday Brunch. The Sunday brunch offers a wide spread of food from various cuisines and has something to cater to everyone in the family. You can spend a lazy weekend with family and friends over the Sunday Brunch.
Warm welcome from staff at Royal Orchid and choose a place there Coffee Shop named Limelight. The restaurant decor is done with mild colors, kitchen utensils and has a European touch to it. It can house probably fit up to 40 people at a time.
#MacroTravellerTips: Enjoy your Sunday brunch at Limelight in the Royal Orchid Hotel. It has an air-conditioned indoor seating area and an outdoor dining area under the shade of gazebos.
I fancied a table for 4 in a cozy corner of Limelight. After settling down, I ordered a fresh lime soda and orange juice. Pure Orange Pulp!
Outdoor seating was fantastic as usual with green lawns and the Shikari tents. Brillant Afternoon! Even one can sit inside in the newly done up outlet close to the open pizza oven, there is also a special kids corner and you can request for your favorite topping on any pizza.
After sipping lime soda! Soon the starters were served on our table. Different sorts of starters like veg and non-veg dim sums, veg starters, and non-veg kebabs were served. Yes, it was unique presentation!
The kebabs like Tunde Kebab, Bandipur Hara Kebab, Lasooni Chicken Kebab and Murgh Tikka Kebab were familiar from Awadhi cuisine. As you know that I’m vegetarian, I can’t tell you how it is! But my friends were delighted with Kebabs.
My favorite Veg Part. The brunch menu comprises of Tandoori items, appam, chaat, pav bhaji, tawa items and more. I loved aloo tikka chaat. We can order any type of chaat at the chaat counter.
Live Food. Yes, we can see how they prepare dishes on tawa like pav bhaji, Mongolian rice, and noodles. Hygienic and Very Neat!
For the main course, they had both Indian and Continental cuisines. Dishes like dal, palak paneer, mutton and vegetarian biryanis, dal makhani, pasta, noodles and more were present. They also served their extraordinary roti’s like Taftan, Tashkent Naan, Chironji Naan and Ajwani Naan.
They have a live pizza counter where they bake these classic wood-fired pizzas. It was a fun-filled pizza making time-out. You can customize the pizza with toppings of your choice! I ordered and had a veg pizza, which was crispy and delicious.
Need to say the restaurant serves quality in all aspects. I must say all these dishes were made perfectly and the taste was remarkable, overall I had a great time at this place, and I would love to visit again.
