Luxurious Java Rain Resort in Chikmagalur | #MacroTraveller

The veritable coffee hills of India now have a new destination for a luxury fiesta – Java Rain Resort in Chikmagalur. Nestled in the Mullayangiri hills, in the thick of an extraordinary coffee plantation. So, when Java Rain Resort, Chikmagalur invited MacroTraveller for the review of their newly opened property, I gratefully accepted the invite.About Java Rain Resort!

Java Rain offers the world-class hospitality, and best nature stays among Chikmagalur retreats. The Java Rain Resort owned by a Bangalore based couple who have the exceptional restaurants in Bengaluru like 100 FT Boutique Bar Restaurant in Indira Nagar and Bayleaf Restaurant in Koramangala in their kitty of success. The resort tucked in the heart of an active coffee plantation in Chikmagalur, and this is the ideal place to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect with nature. It’s enclosed by sun-kissed hillsides and clear streams, and this resort is a perfect getaway from the hustle-bustle. Java Rain Resort the sort of place where you can respire, behold and sit back with your favorite book, without having to arbitrate on the comforts of a high-end resort.Cadence architects deserve all the credit for the breathtaking architecture. Java Rain Resort delights everyone from their reception area, and they have the unique towers over there, it’s amazing indeed. The quirkily shaped swimming pool is another highlight feature of JRR. The seating zone outside the Mirra restaurant, viewing the borough of Chikmagalur to the exceptionally dazzling factoring of space and services in the villas and suites.Need to mention about the upcoming Crimson Peak bar. It’s tall and elegant structure. The JRR has it all what is required to escape the difficult city life and rejuvenate from within. The Villas of JRR!Java Rain Resort has 21 villas of sumptuously furnished comfort and magnificent views of the Mullayangiri hills on one side and breathtaking a panoramic view of Chikmagalur town on the other. The JRR villas were divided into three different categories: called Kaffa, Qahva, and Fika. Kaffa – Single villa with the open shower and a view of the sky. Qahva – The twin villas interconnected with private jacuzzi and king-size bed. Fika – Presidential suite comes with three bedrooms, private pool, jacuzzi and the beautiful view of the hills. They offered me stay at Qahva villa for two nights for a luxurious experience. The rooms were embellished with lovely glass windows, classy interiors, beautiful details and a perfect relaxing deck area. The hygiene in the rooms and the design of the rooms is excellent. The lighting in and around the room is gorgeous. Everything about the lighting was perfect, placement, position, color, and temperature. Has to say the room was spacious, well-equipped, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. All 21 villas come with amenities like LED TV, telephones, coffee and tea maker, wireless high-speed internet access, minibar, toilet essentials, large day beds, hairdryer and so much more. There is a vibe of admiring luxury and rejuvenation served on a platter as soon as you enter the rooms. They have Books, magazines and extensive movie library for you! Mirra Restaurant: A lavish and delicious spread is served at the Mirra restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The extensive restaurant menu includes both Indian and western delicacies, beautifully steeped in local culture and cuisine so you can savor a bit of Chikmagalur in every bite. The Crimson Peak Bar (Launching soon)! A multi-level bar with elegant seating and most beautiful views left me to spellbound. I climbed three floors of the bar for the bird’s eye’s view of the town, Mullayanagiri hills and the lake in its proximity. To add to this gorgeous view, they handcrafted cocktails and a private view of the sunset, and you can experience paradise. Recreation Activities in JRR!

Shvah Spa: When MacroTraveller say that the retreat is about relaxing and rejuvenating, their spa needs a special naming to make that possible. JRR has specially qualified masseuse with expertise in both Ayurvedic and Thai massage. You can enjoy Indoor and Outdoor Games! The JRR is quite suitable for team building activities for corporate groups. There is basketball, volleyball, carrom, table tennis and other board games to keep guests engaged. I had a pleasant time taking a walk and cycling through the hotel. JRR has some of the most soulful walkways within the resort, convenient at any time, day or night. Don’t miss walking in Coffee Plantation. The JRR offers a half an hour walk around their beautiful coffee estate explaining the titbits of growing coffee. It has been an enjoyable stay at the wonderful place. The service and staff were at best. The food was awesome.

All in all, it was a great experience. A must visit place for a relaxing vacation! #MacroTraveller highly recommends JRR – Java Rain Resort!
