Time for Majestic Mango Treat! Sensational Aamlicious Thali was truly heavenly. This mango summer Chefs at Rasovara have mixed up some fabulous and creative dishes using both raw and ripe mangoes in different starters, mains and desserts.
Summer is eternally unique for me, as this is the time to savor mangoes. Rasovara’s mango thali had some great signature dishes from Rajasthan and North India. They hold an ‘A la carte’ menu as well as Thali. Thali is an integral part of Indian tradition, and I got to taste many mango-based dishes like Mango Fondue, Mango Chaat, Aam ki launji, Aam Ki Pani Puri, Aam Dal Dhokli, served along with rotis, Aam Poori and Mango Pulao it was truly a festival of flavors and taste.
When I arrived at Rasovara, their staff in traditional attire welcomed me with flowers. Soon after taking the seat I got the welcome drinks for tasting – Mango Lassi, Aam Thandai, and Kesar Chandan Cool. I was pleased with the welcome drink, and lassi was too good. All were perfect summer drinks.
Mango special thali had Mango Pani Poori, Pizza Dhokla, Kairi Bhakarwadi with Honey Chilli Sauce, Kairi Bhare Papad Roll with Lasuni Chutney, Kairi Mutter Roll, and Aam Ghugra Chaat as starters. All the starters were delicious.
For the main course, I had Gunda Kairi Ki Sabzi, Rajasthani Gulab Jamun Ki Sabzi, Fajeto, Spicy Mango Salad, Khobha Roti, Ghatte Ki Sabzi, Mango Khadi, Mango Pulao, khichdi and few other dishes from their regular menu.
For desserts, I had Aam Shahi Tukda, Badam Halwa and Mango Jilebi with Rabdi.
Good quality wholesome North Indian and Rajasthani thali. Food tastes authentic, and service is pretty fast. Weekends bit crowded, services may be bit slow. You must go on an empty stomach to enjoy the lavish spread. 🙂
So don’t forget to try the Rasovara Aamlicious Thali before the mango season gets over. I would suggest this place to friends and families.
