With its many first in its name like Night Safari, Highest Indoor Waterfall etc. Out of these places to visit, Marina Bay Sands which stands tall with its boat-like structure atop 3 strong architectural buildings. This is one of the place which everyone should visit to view the sunset. Opened in 2010 this place has been on the list of must visit places according to various travel organizations. It features one of grandest hotel and casino which is one of expensive standalone casino in the world.

Situated in 1-hectare park, it has 3 standing towers around 55 storey high building, hosts infinity swimming pool, garden, shopping complex and jogging path. Marina Bay Sands has over 2500 rooms with modern luxury and amenities. There is an ArtScience Museum which is dedicated for both Art and Science and is in the shape of a lotus. The highlight of Marina Bay Sands is its infinity pool which is the world’s longest swimming pool which is 146 meters long and is located 191 meters above the ground.

Places to visit in Marina Bay Sands.

1) Marina Bay Sky Park: With its 1-hectare observation deck where you can view Singapore in bird’s eye view is one of must visit in Marina Bay Sands. Situated around 57 story above the view is panoramic from this height and you can notice the city as its busiest hour, the gardens by the bay, shopping lanes, harbour and other in typical bird’s eye view. This is the best place to view Sunset as you would be mesmerized by how the city turns its lights on welcoming nightlife.

2 )Art Science Museum: One of its kind museum which combines both art and science this museum exhibits various collection and its in-house art. Open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 you can explore Art, Science, Culture and technology incorporated in its exhibits. There are 21 galleries in this museum segregated according to their genre.

  • Casino: Having one of the largest upscale Casino, Marina Bay Sands has over 2300 slot machines and 250+ tiles giving you an ultimate casino experience. Spread across 3 different levels this Casino has over 20 different card games and electronic machines for its visitors to experience a casino at this upscale place.
  • Restaurants and Shopping: Marina Bay Sands is one stop shop if you want to shop at some of the most famous luxury stores, if you want to buy some souvenirs then fret not as there is a Sky park Gift shop where you can buy some or you can easily check at the hotel lobby. There are over 80+ restaurants here at Marina Bay which features cuisine from various parts of the world that you can try here. With 2 Michelin Star restaurants, you can try tasteful fine dine places at Marina Bay.

There are various musical concerts happening at this place so that you can enjoy your day with a live concert, also it has business meeting hall, a convention centre where you can attend to meetings and also choose this place for a destination wedding.

Marina Bay Sands is open all days from 09:30 to 22:00 on weekdays and 09:30 to 23:00hrs on weekends. There are multiple ways where you can visit this place.

By MRT: Marina bay is linked to CE1/D16 Bayfront Station. There are 4 exit places where it is connected to various tourist place. Exit A connects to Gardens by the Bay, Exit C&D connects to Marina Bay Sands, Sky Park and ArtScience museum, Exit E connects to Sands Expo and Convention Center.

By Bus: Various public bus have their stops at Marina Bay Sands, Route numbers 97,106,518,133 is available Monday – Friday excluding public holidays, route 97E,502A has late night service and on Saturday and during Public Holiday route number NR1, NR6 caters visitors to Marina Bay Sands.

By Ferry:Operating from 07:00 to 22:00 you can take a ferry towards Marina Bay sands where the stoppage point being South Promenade which is a 10-minute walk from Sky park.

MTTips:
A) Visit Marina Bay sands during Sunset or night time where you can view Sunset from above and also you can view Nightlife from above.

B) During Weekends there would be a fountain show from 20:00hrs hence it would be better if you visit this place on weekend after sunsets where you can view the fountain show
