My First Staycation at a Four Seasons Property & it’s Aamchi Mumbai

This was my first time staying at Four Seasons, and I was impressed. The hotel is professional and ideally located for business and entertainment. It is a five-minute walk to the Phoenix Shopping Mall (as well as being surrounded by the very real Mumbai). The hotel offers excellent views of the city and five-star comfort. The decor of the hotel is very modern, and you have all the facilities you would expect.

Like I said, one of the extraordinary things I am doing this time in Mumbai is experiencing the only Four Seasons property in India. Loved the personalized welcome and gift I received in my room when I checked in. Being pampered like royalty. The manager of the hotel was very friendly and welcoming.

My Room!

The rooms were very stylish and spotless. The bed was excellent, and the quality of sleep was accordingly. Spacious bathroom with views over the city (sea). My executive King Suite at Four Seasons Mumbai has one of the best views of both the skyline of Aamchi Mumbai and coastline, Haji Ali & Mahalakshmi turf club. The bathing products were native Forest Essentials. The shower was particularly significant, as was the spacious bath (filled with scented water and rose petals on my arrival!) The TV had a lot of channels coming on it – including HD channels. I loved everything and felt very special.

Have breakfast at the highest level. A variety of western-style meals are related to delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice and fried eggs are simple to see the standard. The choice of food is extensive and very tasty. Indian sweets are my weakness, so I ate them at breakfast, and everything was fresh. I decided to try out the in-room dining service and had such a fantastic breakfast.

Tried both San:Qi and Prato restaurants both were top notch. I enjoyed drinks at AER on the 33rd-floor roof terrace too. The food at Prato was really lovely. The staff treated me like royalty at the dinner, and their service was impeccable.Another gourmet restaurant (San: Qi) is Drool worthy, serving an eclectic menu of Indian, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai cuisine. Service/staff couldn’t have been more professional; flavors were outstanding; the evening was a wonder. Relish a culinary adventure around Asia at this chic restaurant which serves everything from sushi to dim sum, to curries and kebabs.

Other Highlights!

The most striking feature of this hotel is the rooftop bar with its cool modern design and fantastic views over the city’s slums overlooking the cityscape and the sea. I enjoyed the spa, the swimming pool, and gym. The gym is small but well equipped with excellent cardio, weight and free weight/resistance training equipment. The pool is something that always draws my attention and this one lives up to my expectation. The swimming pool is delightful with such hot weather and especially at night.

The service cannot be put into words and exceeds all expectations. It was in every detail respected (bookmarks in the book, glasses cleaning cloth to the glasses, etc.) every employee, and the one met in the hotel was very friendly. The entire team at the front desk/concierge was extremely service minded, accommodating, personable and more than satisfactory.

I would recommend the hotel unreservedly. Highly recommend people stay here when visiting Mumbai. Thanks again for this unforgettable stay.
