XOOX (pronounced Zooks) is a “live craft brewing space” launched in Koramangala. XOOX Brewmill is a Casual Dining restaurant that serves Indian cuisines with a twist along with a range of Oriental and Western delicacies. The brand strives to introduce craft beer styles with cuisines that global standards. Spread across 15,000 sq. Ft over three floors, XOOX Brewmill also promises to be a live entertainment hub with regular performances on the cards. With a curated menu encompassing Modern Indian, Western and Oriental cuisine, global comfort food is what XOOX is looking to offer.

The Space of XOOX Brewmill!
Converting an old factory and a manufacturing unit into a brewery in a mill-like setting, XOOX Brewmill is an example of the adaptive reuse genre in architecture. Surrounded by trees, green landscaping meets decorative metal grills to create a stunning facade as you enter the space. There’s not one, but three floors of food & drinks clubbed with live entertainment to be experienced here.
The ground floor invites you into a vast pillared corridor with exposed brickwork. The seating areas are designed to provide a unique visual experience wherever you choose to park yourselves. The 3D Bar area on the ground floor is the star feature against a backdrop of brewing vats. High bar stools to low slung chairs and furniture in cane and wood along with planters segregate seating sections here. There is also an outdoor seating area with an amphitheatre, camper style benches and a wood-fired oven for freshly baked breads.
The first floor offers a clear view of the brewing vats with seats running along the walls and the railings to give you an undisturbed view of the ground floor happenings. Five circular back-lit windows and curated artworks are the focal points of this floor. This floor is also home to a DJ console and a live performance area, housing capacity of 700 pax in a single go.
Coming to the terrace area, there is cosy seating under green pergolas with bar stool style high seats, comfy sofas and deep seat chairs in tan, cane and wood. The flooring is a mix of parquet and wood panelling. There is a service bar to take care of all your needs on this level, and you can also get a view of the floors below to be a part of the scene. Not to forget the USP of his floor, an exclusive Sushi bar is available to treat guests with delicacies to be paired with their perfectly brewed pint.
Let’s Talk Drinks
The brewery will offer 6 – 8 styles of craft beers to be available on tap soon. Till XOOX starts brewing, customers can choose from their Signature Cocktails section. I tried Memory Jar with scotch, Milk Maid, Earl Grey, masala mix, soy milk, rosemary syrup & Gems.
Panama Shake –
It’s a splendid place for grabbing a drink and a few bites, albeit quite dark. The blaring music inside makes conversation impossible, though I believe that is the way pubs work. I fancied sitting on the sofas placed by a corner, which were pretty comfortable.
Food was marvellous which include Veg Dehydrated Dosa, Yi Mein Noodles, Mushroom Pide and Cheese Pide (I liked the presentation). The non-veg section included Tibetan Chicken, Galouti Sheermal Pao and Pork Bao. For Desserts Rasmalai Baked Alaska and Peanut Butter Brownie with Roasted Almond Ice Cream.
Dehydrated Dosa was crisp, and it was served with tomato & freshest coconut chutney.
I liked (Yi Mein Noodles) these thin noodles, cooked in a tasty sauce, served quite innovatively with a noodle basket full of stir-fried veggies.
Cheese Pide and Mushroom Pie is the Turkish pizza’s, and it was yummy. The flatbread was covered well with the cheese and provided with an excellent Thai sauce and mayo. Mushrooms were fresh, and it tasted good. The cheese pide was loaded with cheese and delicious oregano spices on top of it. I savoured both these so-called pizza’s.
My Friends tried their Non-Vegetarian menu Tibetan Chicken, Galouti Sheermal Pao and Pork Bao. They were satisfied.
Selecting one option from their dessert menu was impossible, so macrotraveller chose two. First, Rasmalai Baked Alaska is an ice cream bombe on an almond sponge base covered in toasted meringue. It is an exciting array of textures and levels of sweetness. I liked Peanut Butter Brownie with Roasted Almond Ice Cream.
XOOX scores are high on excellent service. The XOOX Brewmill offers a picturesque and vibrant ambience and a lively atmosphere to its diners.
