All new Summer Menu at Sanchez | MacroTraveller

Enjoy this summertime in Mexican way, from fresh salsa, achiote to fresh homemade cheese made Mexican style and loads of tortilla chips. Thank, Chef Vikas Seth he recently visited Mexico and curated the menu based on his travels to Oaxaca and Mexico City.

Menu covering of refreshing and authentic Mexican drinks, appetizers, mains and Mexican Ice pops called paletas as desserts that promise to please every taste palate this summer. Also, you must try the Fresh Mango & Chipotle Paleta, and Ice Popsicles made with fresh juicy mango chunks, mango juice, lime & chipotle, on sugarcane stick which are the frozen treats for your taste buds.

Let’s Talk about Drinks!


Agua de Jamaica – Bright red hibiscus brewed iced tea, a little tart, a little sweet & totally refreshing.

Horchata – Drink made of ground almonds, rice & cinnamon, creamy and slightly sweet.

Agua de Chia – Healthy and refreshing lemonade style drink made from chia seeds.


El Suero – lime juice, ice cubes, beer, salt rimmed, extra rousingly fresh, offspring of a margarita.

Michelada – Spicy beer cocktail, chili salt rimmed, made with lime juice, Tabasco, Worcestershire, tomato juice and more!

Lip-Smacking Appetizers!

Started with Oaxacan Artisan Queso Fresco – A fresh homemade cheese made in Mexican style, smokey chipotle served with tortilla chips and grilled torta bread.

Next, Jalapeno Spiced Homemade Cream Cheese – Served with blue corn tortilla chips or grilled torta bread.

Later I tried Achiote Summer Vegetable Taquitos – Achiote natural lipstick spice, slightly tart. Vegetables tossed in Achiote, topped with habanero onions, served on homemade mini corn tortillas.

Then, Garnachas – Small crispy tortillas topped with chili con carne, roasted tomato salsa & queso fresco.

How about Mains? Here it’s!

Tasted Roja & Negro Enmoladas – Corn tortillas stuffed with grilled seafood/meat/vegetables of choice and mashed sweet potato, topped with red and black mole, queso fresco, refried black beans and Mexican rice. You can try with Tenderloin, Zucchini, Yellow Squash & Green Beans.

I tasted Paletas – Mexican Ice Popsicles and Tamarindo Chili & Cane Sugar Paletas. I loved it. Ice Popsicles made with the sweet, sour tamarind, ancho chili & Mexican cane sugar, on sugarcane stick.

Enjoyed Fresh Mango & Chipotle Paletas, Ice Popsicles made with fresh juicy mango chunks, mango juice, lime & chipotle, on sugarcane stick. Amazingly tasty!


Live Guacamole – Prepared tableside. All Guacamole served with Yellow Corn Chips, Blue Corn Chips, Roasted Tomato Salsa and Sour Cream. You must try it!

Charred Pineapple & Pomegranate Guac – Smashed avocado, pico de gallo, char grilled pineapple & pomegranate kernels.

Mexican Ceviche – Red Snapper – Made with our fresh catch of the day fish. It is done to order cured in spiced fresh lime juice and orange juice served with yellow corn chips

Yellow Corn & Blue Corn Tortilla Chips and Salsa! You can enjoy Chipotle Salsa // Roasted Tomato Salsa // Habanero Salsa // Pico De Gallo // Mango Salsa.


Fish Taquitos (Red Snapper) California Style Beer Battered Fish Taquito, topped With Chipotle Mayonnaise, Pico De Gallo, Chipotle Salsa And Guacamole.

Poblano Chicken Mole Taquitos – Shredded Chicken in Poblano Mole served in Taquito with Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. It’s sprinkled with Sesame Seeds.

Green Mole Chicken Taquitos – Shredded Chicken in Green Mole served in Taquito with Rice and Refried Beans. Serrano Spiced Grilled Prawns.

Try Habanero Fusion, Habanero Ketchup Sauce, and Habanero Cottage Cheese.

Sanchez Burrito Bowl – A bowl layered with Mexican rice, main meat/veg, cheese, refried beans, Pico de gallo & sour cream, served with ranchero sauce, chipotle butter Charred Corn on Cob and flour tortilla


Chef’s Specials!

Tamale – The Aztec style of Tamale which is served cocooned in a corn husk, gratinated with cheese accompanied with refried bean and Mexican rice – a la military style.

Veracruz Fish (Red Snapper) – From the State of Veracruz, which is located by the Gulf of Mexico. They bring the Sauce which is prepared with Tomato, Colored Peppers and Jalapeno. It’s served with White Mexican Rice, Refried Beans, and Tortillas.

BBQ Pork Ribs – Grilled Pork Ribs in a House Special Bbq Sauce, it’s served With Corn on the Cob, Potato Wedges, and Salad.

Lamb Barbacoa – Shredded Braised Lamb In Guajillo Chili Base Served With Mexican Rice, Refried Beans And Corn Tortillas.

Alambres (Mexican Skewers) – Colored Peppers, Onion, Tomato, and tenderloin. Brushed with a Chipotle Chili Base and Grilled. Served with Rice, Buttered Corn on the Cob and a Mixed Salad Tossed in Serrano Vinaigrette.

Delicious Desserts!

Tres Leches – A delightfully soaked cake, homemade style.

Sanchez Chocolate Tres Leches – Eggless chocolate cake soaked in chocolate milk.

Oozing Churros – Piped Donuts tossed in Cinnamon Sugar served with Chocolate Sauce.

Cajeta Flan – A Caramel Sauce Flan Covered With Cajeta.
