Phoenix Market city Bengaluru launches “World of Christmas”, unveils tallest Christmas tree (75 feet) in the Country

It’s almost that time of the year again when Mr. Santa visits us and fills our homes with happiness and goodies. Yes, It’s Christmas time! Where better to celebrate than at the venue-to-be for all festivities, Phoenix Marketcity, Bangalore.

Last year, the mall set up the biggest Christmas tree the country has ever seen. This year? Well, it’s bigger and better than ever before! That’s not all, Santa himself will be present at the mall and will be handing out Christmas presents to the little ones.

 

‘World of Christmas’ was launched on the 14th of December at Phoenix Marketcity. The grand launch had a lot of amazing highlights such as dance performances from school children, unveiling and lighting of the tallest Christmas tree in the country, Christmas Carol performances from International artists, a beautiful musical play called ‘The Grand Cantata’ which was a real wow factor.

That’s not all, the mall is also setting up “World Of Christmas” a European themed Christmas market tomorrow onwards with over 1,00,000 unique Christmas products to choose from all over the world which will be on sale, so it is a great time to take home some Christmas goodies.

A lot of other magical events have been lined up for the next 2 weeks. The kids especially will be in for a pleasant surprise as their favourite cartoon characters such as ‘Oggy and the Cockroaches,’ ‘Ben 10’ and Kris from ‘Roll No. 21’ will perform here, all in association with entertainment partner Cartoon Network. The mall is also currently in the midst of the ‘Shop and Win’ where customers who shop for more than Rs. 10,000 can stand a chance to win some exciting prizes such as mobile phones, TVs, Jewellery and a finally a bumper prize, a brand-new Mahindra Marazzo.

Santa himself will be handing over gifts to the little ones here at the mall. Performances from International jugglers and unicyclists are sure to blow your minds away. Popular musical bands like ‘Jashn’ and ‘Rubber Band’ will perform to add to the cheer.

Mr. Gajendra Singh Rathore, Senior Centre Director at Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore, addressed the media during the launch, “We would first like to take the opportunity to wish all our customers a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year. We are delighted to announce the grand launch of “World of Christmas” today at Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore. Christmas at Phoenix has always been a special affair, and we try to do something unique and different every year to surprise our customers. Last year we set up the tallest Christmas tree in the country at 60 feet in height. This year we have gone one step further and have outdone what we did last year by setting up an even bigger tree at 75 feet in height. That’s not all, and we are also setting up a European themed Christmas market that will showcase Christmas products from all over the world which will be on sale, so it is a great time to take home some Christmas goodies.”
