Stay at Le Meridien #Thimphu, #Bhutan | #MacroTraveller

Whether it’s for business or pleasure, Le Meridien Thimphu is an excellent choice for a stay in Thimphu. By car, there is approximately 22km from Paro Airport. Travellers will appreciate that Colorful Bhutan, Clock Tower Square, and Mysterious Bhutan Tours and Adventures are not far from the hotel. The hotel is ideally located, with the Telecommunications Tower, Rabsel Nima Bhutan Adventure and Tashi Quzong Fort close to it.

The location is perfect in the heart of the Thimphu shopping district! It takes only five minutes to walk to shops and restaurants. The Le Meridien is 500 meters from Memorial Chorten and 1.8 km from National Library & Archives of Bhutan and Zorig Chusum. It offers an airport shuttle service. Guests must contact the hotel prior to travel to provide detailed arrival information using the contact details on the booking confirmation. Reservations are required for SPA treatments and can be booked before arrival, using the contact details on the booking confirmation. I recommend that you go to Le Meridien Spa to enjoy, where you can relax and relieve stress.

The room was clean and spacious – the hotel’s design was both traditional and modern and comfortable! The hotel’s rooms are well decorated, and each well-appointed room is air-conditioned comes with a minibar and a seating area. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were good to sleep. When you are free, it is an excellent choice to relax with a drink at the bar. It has a private bathroom with a bath or shower, a hairdryer and bathrobes.

The room has a safe, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. Two bottles of complimentary bottled water are provided daily. Room service is available if you want to dine in the comfort of your own room. I believe that the thoughtful service of the massage room and the excellent facilities of the indoor swimming pool will give you a different experience. I can’t ask for more from this place, and I call it the home of travellers. The hotel’s conference and business centres combine passionate service with professionalism.

The WiFi was stable and easy to use. If time is abundant, travellers can choose a gift from their friends in the gift gallery. Free parking is available to guests staying at the hotel. City views can be enjoyed from the rooms. A safety deposit box and bed linen are provided. There is a gym with treadmills and elliptical devices; I was ready to get a treadmill early each morning although they were then all in use.

There were many restaurants, shops, etc. in the surroundings and we were able to spend comfortably. For lunch and dinner, you can either choose off an a la carte menu that has many different options, or a set three-course meal that is generally Chinese, Indian or Continental. The Latest Recipe restaurant serves seasonal specialities, the Sese Shamu restaurant is open for dinner only, and the Latitude 27 bar serves refreshing drinks.

Sese Shamu is an Asian restaurant where Chinese cuisine is delicious. For lunch we came here for, the food was delicious. The ingredients and vegetables used here are very fresh. The chef was very helpful and cooked delicious dishes for us according to our choice. There are a lot of choices for vegetarians here, and it is highly recommended.

If you are in Bhutan or happen to be in Bhutan, you must not miss this place. The food is delicious, the cocktails are tempting, the delicious snacks are paired with these colourful drinks, and most importantly, the service is very attentive, playing here is a pleasure, everything is friendly and charming, even if you are alone in the bar, You will feel comfortable, safe and home away from home.

All in all, this must be a place you can’t miss, and live bands on Friday and Saturday will bring your party atmosphere to a climax. Overall, the best hotel I have ever stayed in Bhutan. When I come back to Bhutan for the next visit, I will definitely stay here.
