The Bar Stock Exchange launched in Bangalore | #MTEats

Conceptualised on the lines of our infamous stock market, TBSE is fun, unique and cutting-edge bar concept that allows customers to trade in food and booze, with prices starting from as low as MRP prices. The Bar Stock Exchange has made its way to Bangalore and with it comes cheap booze, bar morsels, and an army-themed decor that’s oh so Insta-worthy. Spread over 7599 Sq. Ft. space is designed keeping in mind the Army. Army and all that it stands for is often not dwelled upon, our effort here is to start a conversation.

The focal point of the space, the bar is designed with the fascia comprising of gas masks. The gas masks, few unfinished and few ragged, are significant to the times and tides of war. The Bar Stock Exchange have broken ground to create something of an army base camp complete with Willy’s Jeep, substantial missile props, model wartime airplanes, fuel tanks, metal boxes, and plenty of bombs and grenades. Symbolic to the passion and love for the country. Soak yourself in the beauty of dining and have a one-of-a-kind experience at The Bar Stock Exchange.

What is The Bar Stock Exchange?

It is a stock market-based drink pricing system where the drink prices change based on real-time demand. Think of it as the best deal where you control the prices of all the drinks!

Being touted as the most technologically advanced bar in India, customers can also place an order via a specially developed app (Android and iOS) that lets you monitor prices and order in real time. Customers can compete with each other and the system to score the best prices on their choice of drinks.

How Does It Work?

TBSE will trade in alcohol whilst making sure you have a great exchange (of conversation, of course!). Prices and Drinks Menu are also displayed on the LCDs placed strategically in all sections of the bar.

All prices begin at MRP – Old Monk at Rs. 17, Kingfisher at 65 per pint, Black & White whiskey at 87. Starting with all prices (30 ml / 60 ml / full bottle) at MRP, the prices of your favorite drink rise in direct proportion to its consumption over a period of time at the bar. Since it’s a trader bar, LED TVs are all around you displaying the day’s liquor deals and what are the highs and lows. You’ll need to download the app to bid for your drinks.

Every increasing peg/pint ordered by a patron increases its value margin, to be brought down once again if time is on your side (if orders for the same drink decrease over a period). Before you gasp in worry, their circuit breaker system will ensure that you get the best bang out of your buck always (whether your favorite stock is high or low).

Where Do I Get The App?

Already ranking within the top 30 in the top new free apps section in the Lifestyle category, download the app and let the trading begin.

Order via a specially developed app (Android and iOS) that lets you monitor prices and order in real time. Customers can compete with each other and the system to score the best prices on their choice of drinks.

Food For Thought!

Food was marvelous which included nachos, pasta, burgers, paneer tikka ( really liked the presentation). Don’t miss Misal Pav Fondue, Bharwan Chilli, and Bhajjiya Platter. Special menu Chicken Tikka Popcorn, Calamari Techas, Cooked Pork Belly, Syrian Catholic Pork Curry and Biryani Bowl.

TBSE will capture your mind – it is fun, catchy, innovative and adrenaline pumping – minus the dent on your pocket. Now any trader worth his salt knows Alcohol and Trading to be age-old friends! And we believe every once in a while, and markets favor the brave. Hedge your orders we say!
