The Den launches Bengaluru’s first Sunday Drunch, “The Den Drunch”

The Den is a new luxury hotel adjacent to the famous ITPL in Whitefield. The Den Bengaluru launches the city’s most expansive brunch. The menu has over 200 mouth-watering dishes. Tantalizing your taste buds, The Den Drunch has a varied array of choices under Indian, Oriental, Middle East and European with 4 live counters and sparkling sangria for a perfect Sunday! So head to enjoy the longest Drunch in the city and happy hours till 31st May on select beverages.

The Den launched city’s first Sunday Drunch – The Den Drunch — “drinks, brunch, lunch;” as the name implies, is the perfect place for drinking and late lunch – every Sunday, with an expansive menu at The Creek. It all-day dining restaurant with a modern mix of traditional classic European design opening its arms to the lush green al-fresco seating with a water-stream around it (which gives its name) making your dining experience magical.

The Den Drunch is aimed at the family. The busy technologists of the city can relax with family over the Sunday afternoon. The buffet is one of the most, if not the most, expansive brunch in Bengaluru I have seen. It offers all three major cuisines Indian, European and Asian. There were an outdoor section and a desserts section too.

Executive Chef Kapil Dubey explained his “3-F” philosophy for the Drunch. (1) Freshness– Farm to Fork. (2) Family– the Drunch has a separate section for the young ones with nuggets, popcorn, potato pops, fries, and the chocolate fountain with marshmallows. (3) Familiarity– comfort food.

Not that the Den Drunch lacks for new cuisine. It has tens of type of pickles veg and meat, crispies, sauces, you name it, to start. The salad buffet with some excellent beetroot carpaccio, dim sums, salmon and pok choy, middle eastern mezze. There was both the Hyderabadi style biryani and the Awadhi style dum biryani. A Nilgiri lamb using the green leaf “soppu” as a sauce. A huge variety of live grills, pastas, risotto, and a whole suckling pig with crackling. I just fell in love with the pasta and dim sums.

To complement the tantalizing food, there is a Sangria counter along with four types of sparkling wines. It was just a great relaxed afternoon. With its impeccable cuisine, elaborate bar menu, well-manicured interiors, and exquisite ambiance are set to provide this city with a captivating drinking and dining space that allows you to enjoy the virtue of being local at heart. If brunch is on your mind, head on down to The Den Bengaluru – and enjoy the longest drunch this side of the city!
