It’s Women’s Day, and not many know that the travel industry relies on these incredible ladies who are travelling the globe and sharing every single inch of their experience. As a fellow travel blogger, i have had the privilege to interact with a few and hopefully meet the rest in the near future.

Shivya Nath is a young Indian Travel writer on a mission to discover and write about lesser known destinations. Her blog “The Shooting Stars” has motivated and inspired many young women to take this as a career.
She left her corporate life to convert her passion of travelling into a means of living. Shivya has been to more than 20 countries across four continents and also writes for various online and offline publications.
2) Neelima Vallangi
Neelima is an offbeat and adventure travel lover. Her blog “Travel with Neelima” narrates a story of her heroic travel adventure and offbeat trips. Apart from being a remarkable writer, Neelima has also received awards in photography.
Neelima has trekked widely in the Himalayas, and the Western Ghats has also done a little of cycling through these mountains.
3) Lakshmi Sharath
Lakshmi Sharath is a media professional, traveller, travel writer and a photographer. Lakshmi is a well-known Indian travel blogger through her blog. She has been blogging in the travel space since 2005. She has won several accolades. She featured in the UK’s list of 100 international travellers in 2014.
4) Mridula Dwivedi
Mridula Dwivedi is known for her travel blog, across the globe. She has been rewarded as the Best Travel Blogger from India for her blog GoNomad. Being given the credit travel tales from India, her lustrous speaks much about her. She loves to explore offbeat destinations. Travel Tales from India dates back to 2005.
5) Ankita Sinha
Ankita Sinha quit her IT job to travel and then started her blog in November 2011. She has travelled to 24 states in India and over 13 countries across the globe. Her blog is a personalised stylish travel and adventure blog. She puts up interesting videos along with her articles which give you details about the place.
Translating her fervour into her life work, Anuradha Goyal motivates others with her book and travel writing. She is also a city walker and often organises walks to places of historical importance.
Anuradha is an Innovation Consultant by profession, travel writer and reader by passion. Having lived in many cities, she has been blogging for more than 12 years. Her blog was rated ‘50 best blogs on travel around the world’.
